The success of the “Marketing Festival & Outlook 2024”: VENTENY Indonesia Supports MSMEs and Employee Welfare in South Sumatra

Palembang, 20 January 2024 – PT VENTENY Fortuna International TBK and the Indonesia Marketing Association (IMA) Chapter Palembang, in collaboration with Tribun Sumsel and Sriwijaya Post, organised the Brand Market event themed “Marketing Festival & Outlook 2024” at Palembang Indah Mall on January 19-20, 2024. The event served not only as a promotional platform but also as a concrete effort to support the development of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in the province of South Sumatra while enhancing the welfare of employees in the region.

Joko Prasetyo, President of the Indonesia Marketing Association (IMA) Chapter Palembang, stated that numerous activities were held during January 19-20, including talk shows, book launches, MSME awarding, pawnshop seminars, human resource seminars, financial planning talk shows, and various competitions.

On the second day of the event, Damar Raditya, COO Group of VENTENY, also had the opportunity to share insights during the seminar “Sinergi Pengusaha Menciptakan Hubungan Industrial Yang Harmonis.” Also present on stage were the Chairperson of HR Community Palembang, Mr M. Kasidi, the GM of Iforte Palembang branch, Yuli Roge, and the Deputy Assistant for General HR & Communication, Mr. Novi Kurniadi. The seminar focused on Human Resources in building industrial synergy.

Furthermore, as the event’s main activity aimed at promoting the growth of MSMEs in South Sumatra, VENTENY introduced its flagship program for this year, “Kurasi UMKM Naik Kelas.” This program explicitly targets MSMEs across the South Sumatra province.

Through a rigorous selection process, the top 20 MSMEs were chosen from hundreds of business proposals to participate in the event. The event’s highlight included the announcement of the top 5 MSMEs who will receive mentoring and direct funding support from VENTENY Indonesia. These five selected MSMEs will receive additional capital funding totalling Rp50 million.

The event was attended by several prominent figures, including the Head of the Department of Cooperatives and SMEs of South Sumatra Province, Ir. H. Amiruddin MSi, President of IMA Chapter Palembang, Mr Joko, Assistant to the Economic and Investment Sector, Mrs Letizia, and Chairperson of HR Community Palembang, Mr M. Kasidi, along with other invitees who contributed to the success of the event.

VENTENY reaffirmed its commitment to continue collaborating with the Government of South Sumatra and other private partners to accelerate the progress of the MSME sector and enhance the welfare of employees in South Sumatra Province. With a focus on sustainable synergy, VENTENY hopes these efforts will positively impact local economic growth.

Through the “Marketing Festival & Outlook 2024,” VENTENY created a platform supporting MSMEs and employee welfare and demonstrated a genuine commitment to fostering sustained partnerships with governmental and private entities to advance economic and social welfare in the province of South Sumatra.
