Entering its 7th Year, VENTENY Records Positive Growth and Holding a Virtual Conference “A Carnival to Happiness”

Jakarta, 20 May 2022 – The company that created employee happiness technology innovation, VENTENY, has reached its 7th year. The establishment of VENTENY cannot be separated from the experience of Jun Waide, Founder and Group CEO of VENTENY during his career in the United States and the Philippines. In the Philippines, Jun sees that employees experience demotivation and tend to have low loyalty to the company because they do not get the benefits they need and the opportunity to grow from the company. To that end, VENTENY was founded in 2015 and has proven its success in the Philippines and Singapore. Then in 2018, VENTENY was established in Indonesia.

According to Jun, the potential as well as the challenges of developing Indonesian human resources are a strategic business landscape for VENTENY. “Indonesia has enormous human resource potential, with more than 200 million population, 69% of which are people of productive age. However, the level of labor productivity in Indonesia is still lower than the average ASEAN countries. Another challenge is that the number of university graduates is still limited, only around 9.7% of the total population aged 15 years and over in 2019. We choose to view this situation as room for improvement, and believe there needs to be a disruptive and fast system as an alternative solution. ” Jun said.

“In increasing HR productivity which will later have an impact on the national economy, VENTENY was born to provide for the needs of employees and employers which have so far not been met due to limited systems or capacities. Companies are often constrained by management and capital policies in providing maximum benefits to employees. Meanwhile, employees need to ensure that they are financially secure and have career development so they can continue to work and survive in one company.” Jun said.

As of March 2022, VENTENY has posted revenue growth of 200% in 2021, compared to the previous year. Business-to-Business (B2B) segment user growth has reached 161.61%. Currently, VENTENY already has more than 200 corporate partners that cover more than 200,000 employees who automatically become beneficiaries of VENTENY. But apart from the B2B segment, VENTENY will also continue to optimize its services to the Business-to-Business-to-Employee (B2B2E) segment in 2022. The number of user downloads has also increased rapidly by up to 500% since the application was launched on iOS in November 2021.

Not only formal and informal sector workers, VENTENY also has services that target MSMEs, so they can have access to finance and develop their business. Over the past six months, VENTENY has managed to experience an increase in the percentage of MSMEs that have been assisted with financing by as much as 308%, with an increase in the amount of funding up to 835%. VENTENY is also active in providing assistance to MSMEs through various community events and training, such as educational events for female MSME owners throughout East Java, which aim to help digitize businesses to learn about access to the right capital for each business.

It doesn’t stop there, VENTENY is also actively holding educational webinars for employees to students, collaborating with several online communities such as HRD Bacot, Trevo and HRIndosociety. With discussions related to personal growth and career development, and inviting several reliable experts such as Samuel Ray, Dudi Arisandi, to Christie Basil. In the near future, VENTENY also plans to announce a number of collaborations with startups that have the same vision and mission to advance MSMEs.

“Regarding the 2022 target, we want to spread more employee happiness in cities other than Jakarta, such as Bandung, Surabaya, Palembang, and a number of cities in eastern Indonesia. We are also focused on improving our ecosystem to be more comprehensive for customers. There are several short-term plans for VENTENY for the third quarter of 2022, including product extensions such as learning management system (LMS) services at V-Academy, adding e-wallets as a payment system diversification, to monthly PPOB services through the V-Merchant feature. Not only that, we also plan to expand our business to several big cities in Indonesia, such as Semarang, Bali, Medan, Makassar, Pekanbaru and Pontianak.” said Group COO VENTENY, Damar Raditya.

In celebration of VENTENY’s 7th anniversary, VENTENY provides happiness to employees by holding a Virtual Conference “A Carnival to Happiness with VENTENY”, a webinar that carries the topic of career development, self-development, and mental health. This event is supported by experts from various circles, such as Riffa Sancati – Author of The Little Handbook for Big Career and Founder and CEO of The Lens Story, Sandra Clarisa – Senior Brand and Product Marketing Manager of Gojek, Samuel Ray – HR Professional and Content Creator, David Irianto – Co-Founder and Creative Director of IDELAJU and Co-Founder of Greatmind.id, Analisa Widyaningrum – Psychologist and CEO of APDC Indonesia, M.Psi, and Fellexandro Ruby – Content Creator and Co-Founder of Thirty Days of Lunch Podcast.
