Strengthening its business ecosystem, VENTENY now holds a 30% stake in PT Digitalisasi Perangkat Indonesia.

Jakarta, 8 January 2024 – PT VENTENY Fortuna International Tbk (VENTENY), (IDX: VTNY), welcomes the new year 2024 by further strengthening its business through a 30% ownership of PT Digitalisasi Perangkat Indonesia (DPI). This strategic move solidifies VENTENY as Indonesia’s first and largest employee super app.

PT Digitalisasi Perangkat Indonesia (DPI) is an integrated Financial Technology (Fintech) holding company that provides a complete environment and services for “digital banking,” including rural digitisation, funding activities, e-money, and electronic transfers (via e-Money). This ownership stake becomes a tactical step for VENTENY as DPI’s e-money license, Dipay, adds value to both the Company and the VENTENY Employee Super App users.

Jun Waide, Founder and Group CEO of VENTENY, stated, “With this corporate action, the VENTENY Employee Super App can optimize the integration of digital payment technology to provide users with convenience in various payment transactions. The presence of e-money in the VENTENY ecosystem adds value to the Company and provides real benefits for users who can enjoy a more efficient and practical payment experience through the VENTENY Employee Super App.”

Through this service integration, the cost of topping up balances will become more affordable for users. Users can quickly transfer funds, pay utility, water, and telephone bills, or buy products online with just a few taps on the screen. Additionally, security is enhanced to protect user transactions, making the payment experience in the app more comfortable and secure.

Furthermore, this ownership stake will also help HR and partner companies by offering another method for paying their employees’ salaries which can be channelled through this e-money system.

The VENTENY Employee Super App helps improve employee well-being with its four main service features: enhancing financial well-being (V-Nancial), lifestyle convenience to support work-life balance (V-Merchant), better health care (V-Health), and employee education and development (V-Academy).

According to the financial report for the third quarter of 2023, VENTENY has once again recorded a total revenue growth of IDR 100 billion, a 125% increase compared to the third quarter of 2022. In line with this positive outcome, the company has also achieved a profit increase of IDR 6.7 billion in the third quarter of 2023, growing by 57% from the same period in the previous year.
